I work with adults and young people, teaching navigation to groups and individuals on and around Dartmoor. Activities range from leading walks to teaching basic and advanced navigation to camp-craft skills. The experiences offered by activities on and around the moor promote independence, challenge, imagination, team-work and co-operation in students of all ages.

Current training I am involved with includes:

Ten Tors training for Tavistock & District Youth Forum.

National Navigation Award Scheme courses.

Assisting with the assessment of potential trainee recruits for Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team (Tavistock) and ongoing training of successful recruits.

I regularly offer open courses; but can also offer courses for groups on dates to suit their needs. Please contact me if you would like to arrange training or to discuss your navigation training needs.
